Account executives are the subordinate to the account manager. Believe me that you will be asked many questions during the interview but at first you will have to understand that what the account executive really do. I am now going to put forward some of the questions which you will be asked while giving the interview of account executive.

The questions are as follows:

Questions related to the ambition:

1. Who are your heroes from the past? What is the reason why you have chosen them as a hero?
You can choose some really well known personalities in the world of economics for this. However make sure that you know about him in detail. Otherwise you will not be able to give the reasons why you have chosen him.

Customer service questions:

2. Tell us about the most difficult customer you had to tackle with.
As an account executive you will have to talk to many customers daily. Many times you will have to face the difficulty but you must have done something to tackle with them. You will have to explain one such incident in front of the recruiting panel. Make sure that you do not stop while answering to this question. Just explain the incident breathlessly. If you will stop then the recruiters will have a bang in you. And yes, be prepared for some cross questions.

Negotiations skills:

3. Tell us about one of the negotiations that you lead.
You should apply a prearranged approach to negotiations, and also make sure that you see the different motivations, interests and objectives of all parties which are involved. And at last keeping all this in mind make sure that you are able to present one such negotiation in front of the recruiter.

Question on pressure:

4. How are you able to handle the pressure?
This is one of the questions which you will have to answer with lots of mind. Let me explain it to you. There might be many circumstances when you will be tortured by the seniors. But you cannot take this as the example. You must have also been tortured by the customers. You can take one such example for yourself. Just explain how you were able to handle the circumstances in that case.

Problem solving abilities:

5. How do you keep up to date with the advancement in your field?
This is one of the questions which you will find it easier. You can say that you read daily newspaper as well as watch the news. You can also add that you read lots of magazines as well and you are a very busy internet surfer too.
