An Artist Management is a field where the artist manager handles the career issues for singers, musicians, bands etc. An Artist Manager is sometimes also known as Talent manager or Band Manger. The main role of an artist manager is to guide the artists in their career in entertainment industry. They provide counseling and guide them in their professional fields, they make long-term plans for them which may shape their career. They are hired by the musicians in order to endorse their business deals, recording contracts, promotions etc. They assist songwriters, singers, instrumentalist, finding music producers and making relations with different record companies are some of their jobs. Launching CDs on a fixed date on a specific venue is also one of his greatest responsibilities.

1. Do you have any personal contacts in the music business?
It is the situation where you can give your answer with your own pattern. If you have any personal contacts in this field then you can say like this: yes I have some personal contacts in this field. My college friend has his own record company. We were classmates in XYZ Music College, now he has established his own business.

2. Tell us about your experiences.
Tell them how many concerts and music dubbing you have done yet. For that how many artist you had assigned. What was the theme of the project etc? You can also tell them about where you do your recordings, which type of instruments generally you use and so on.

3. Tell us about music background.
Here you have to say about your music skills, from where you have learnt the music, what was your specialization, and if you have any music band then you can also tell about that.

4. Which type of music theme you like?
Here you should tell about your music taste. Which type of music you like most and why?

5. How will you rate your performance?
You should be smart to your answer. You can give some of your achievements that how successfully you promoted a singer or his/her work. You can also say about some of the Music Company promotions activity.
It is a very wide field, so one should be very talented in this profession. He should have the knowledge of all kinds of music and how to promote it, how to make new contacts with different music and record companies.
