    Hotel manager is a person who handles the everyday function and management of a hotel. He or she is responsible for the day-to-day management of a hotel and its staff and has commercial accountability for planning, organizing and directing all hotel services, including reception, concierge, reservations, food and beverage operations and housekeeping.

    1. Why did you join hotel sector?
    It is a good opportunity for you to explain the extensive process of research and education that you have undertaken. Tell them about your strengths and how you match up with this job.     2. What do you mean by hotel management?
    Hotel management refers to professional management techniques used in the hospitality sector. It includes hotel administration, accounts, marketing, housekeeping, front office, food and beverage management, catering and maintenance.

    3. What are your key achievements up till now?
    Due to my thrust to push forward, positive attitude towards problem solving and my ability to overcome obstacles in life, I was able to receive two promotions within one year in my previous company.

    4. What do you do in your free time?
    This question is basically asked to know your interest and hobbies. You can impress an interviewer by your answer. You should highlight activities you enjoy that demonstrate risk taking, recharging and an outgoing personality.

    5. How do you handle negative feedback from very angry customers? How do you respond to him or her?
    You can say that dealing with all kind of customer is part of my job. I am a very cool and calm person so I am least effected by the negative feedback of customer. However, I make effort to handle them carefully by managing their grievances.
    6. Why Do You Want to Leave Your Current Job?
    Keep your answers to this question as positive as possible. Do not tell on how much you hate your previous boss. The interviewer wants to hire a team player to the position, not a negative and bitter person.
