Customer Service Management Interview Questions

  • Customer service management relates to dealing with the customers. It is a kind of process by which companies interact with their customers. They solve their queries, give the information about the product, handling incoming phone calls etc. This consists of employee training and making them aware of some softwares used for the interaction with customers.
    The questions which can be asked to you during your interview are as follows:

    1. How do you respond to your angry customers?
    Here you should say that, I listen to them carefully, the reason behind their anger and then I manage their problems without overlooking the complaints. I always treat them with cool mind. Lastly I always say thanks to my customers, it makes them realize that the service we are providing them is good.

    2. Explain how would you handle the situation if the customer is asking for something which would violate the rules of the company and not in the company’s interest?
    The candidate should show that I am able to keep a balance between the company’s policy and customer’s interest. You can give some examples regarding to this situation.

    3. Can you differentiate between the customer experience and customer service?
    Yes I can, customer service is providing services to the customers, and it may vary from their needs, whereas the customer experience is defined as dealing with different customers, getting aware of their nature and how to deal with different customers having different nature.

    4. How you contact to your customers?
    The candidate should be able to represent that he has skills to build a healthy relations with their customers. He always ready to make professional relationship with them. You should remember that, always be polite when you making a call or interacting with the customers.

    5. Give your experiences in this field.
    You should give your profile background relating to your previous job. Tell them I have worked in different companies (give the names of a company where you worked before), I was managing xyz post (give your designation), and I handled the number of customer and their calls. Leaving one or two all the customers were satisfied.

    6. Why you have chosen this company?
    You can say, this company has number of clients (national and international) and have a very good reputation in the international market, so I want to be a part of your company.

    So get ready for the interview with your experiences and always be confident to your answers.
