  • A customer service sales representative is responsible for dealing with all the enquiries of the client related to the sales. The ever growing field of customer care services has ample opportunities to offer. The entry to this field needs knowledge about general computer applications and the sales market. He should be competent enough for promoting the sales of the company maintaining its reputation. Efficient behavioral skills are a pre requisite for the job.

    1. What is essential for efficient customer service?
    Strong customer care service is essential for a flourishing business. The customer service provider should be committed for the quality service. He should know his customer’s requirements. He should also have complete knowledge about the     products and services provided by his company. A well mannered behavior with the client is most important. Keeping promises made with the client depicts reliability and helps in creating a good image of the company. Initially the focus should be on making clients and then the preference to sales should be made. Make it easier for the client to buy a product. Unnecessary paper work should be avoided.

    2. What attracts you to this industry?
    The question is important as it seeks the interest you have for this work. Tell about your experience in this industry. Mention the importance of customer services for a company. Be focused and genuine. Try to show your communication skills by the way you frame your answer.

    3. What sales skills are essential to have success in sales?
    It will be easier for you to answer this question if you are an experienced professional. A sales representative should have excellent presentation skills. His ability to persuade others will help him a lot to succeed in this area. Adaptability and negotiation power are also the added traits. He should also be highly motivated.

    4. Describe a time when your company couldn’t deliver the products. How did you handle your client?
    Give example from your past work area if any such situation had occurred with you. Tell how you persuaded your client. Elaborate about your communication with him. Also quote about his after reactions.
