Data management is a very broad field. It is related to managing data and resources for a business or organization. These data play as a valuable resource for the company. Data management is not a single field; it is comprised of different streams and differs in work styles. There are different topics under data management; some of them are data warehousing, data movement, data modeling, data mining etc.
The interview questions can differ according to the field you have selected. The data management is also associated with computer applications. So there is no any specific question for this management system. There are some common questions given below.
1. What is your experience?
Tell them about your experiences. What kind of data you have managed in your previous job. Get focused to your answer and avoid the chances of cross questioning.
2. Why you are here?
This question can confuse you. So tell them why you came here. The answer could be I have gained experience in data management (give your speciality) and I am seeking for better opportunity for my career. You can also say that your company is a famous in the world and it will help me to nurture my career if I would be a part of it.
3. How you release your tension?
Tension is a part of work. If you have a lot of work then you will have a much tension i.e. tension is directly proportional to amount work. Every body wants to finish its project under the deadline. You can answer like this, in the weekend I prefer to go for a movie (or you can add any other task you like) which helps me to releasing the tension. Or you can also say that I love gardening, I go for morning walk as fresh air keeps the mind healthy.
4. What are your future goals?
Here you should be creative and extra smart, tell them what is your future goals, what you want to become in your life, where you see yourself at the age of 35 or 40. If you are giving this answer be alert that recruiter is smarter than you. He is testing your skills, what is your thinking about your dream goal.
5. If we will not select you then what will you do?
If I would not be selected then I will prepare myself best for this post and after that I will again like to appear for the interview of your company.
