  • Deliver Driver are those people who sell and deliver goods along local routes. They deliver pizzas, laundries, goods and many more items. Deliver Driver transport the load from specified destination such as offices, plants, railroad stations, industrial yards and many other spots.

    1. What are the roles and responsibilities of a deliver driver?
    Well, a delivery driver has to perform various important responsibilities which include maintaining and inspecting the vehicle supplies such as gas, water, oil, light, tires, brakes etc. They help in loading and unloading in car, truck and van. They have to do emergency repairing such as installing fuses, light bulbs, spark plugs, tire chain and changing tires. They are also responsible for obtaining signatures for the products that are delivered.

    2. If we select you then how long would you expect to work for us?
    You should be anxious for this question. An employer is always interested in selecting those candidates who could stay in their company for longtime. You can say that - I would like to make positive contribution for a long period. Or as long as we both feel that I am doing a good job. I always approach new job with a long term view.

    3. Explain how you would be an asset to this organization.
    It is a bit tricky question.  The way you answer this question will discriminate you from rest of the candidates. It gives you a chance to highlight your best points as they relate to the position being discussed.

    4. Please tell us some qualities that you look for in a boss?
    Be honest, generic and positive while answering this question. You can say that - my employer should be knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. He or she should be fair, loyal to subordinates and holder of high standards.

    5. Why did you left your previous job?
    Never abuse or disregard your previous employer. You can politely answer this question by saying that there was no growth scope in my previous company that’s why I left it. I am looking for a company with long term growth opportunities.
