Engineering Technician is a highly technical person who has relatively practical understanding of the general theoretical principles of the specific branch of engineering in which they work. 2. Tell us something about authorities and responsibilities that you had in your previous organization?
In my previous organization, I performed numerous important tasks which include providing emergency support to production, carrying out scheduled maintenance activity and installing new equipments. I also provided training to support technical staff, and evaluated product reliability and performance for commercial equipment production unit.
3. Can you tell us something about the job specific tasks that you have performed?
Some of the occupation specific tasks that I had performed include designing and preparing work plans, preparing electronic layouts, scale drawing, chart drawing, and controlling material supply. I also performed basic calculations for determining strength of material, layout of charts and other structural requirements.
4. Have you ever had to work closely with a person you did not get along with? How did you handle the situation?
The interviewer wants to hear that you were able to put aside your differences and get the work done. They also want to hear that you are flexible, and can be sensitive to the needs and feelings of others. Quote suitable examples, and tell how you learned to get along with the various people in the previous company.
5. What did you make in your previous organization?
Tell genuinely about your last salary. Do not overstate or inflate your previous earnings. Employers check your references to confirm your salary history.
