An executive secretary is responsible for various duties in an office; their responsibilities include providing technical and administrative support to senior management executives. They have to answer the telephone, receive and distribute mail and correspondence, gather data and compile various reports for management and conduct projects and assignments.

1. Tell us about the duties that you performed in your previous jobs?
In my previous position as an Executive secretary, I performed a large number of different tasks which included interactions with high level executives, scheduling meetings in conference rooms, answering calls, delivering letters, typing documents, coordinating travel arrangements and supporting other executive and administrative level tasks. I am a very capable person and I can perform a number of duties at one time.
2. Have you every performed supervisory duty? If yes then tell us about it?
It may happen that at times an executive secretary has to perform number of other duties in addition to the regular ones. If you have had this experience then you can tell your employer about it. You can say that while you were in a supervisory position you had to deal with high-level contacts, training and helping the subordinates and handling the duty with tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment.
3. We would like to know about the skills and knowledge that you possess?
It is very essential for an executive secretary to have basic knowledge about reading, writing and arithmetic skills. They should also know how to work with Microsoft Office and telephone protocol. If a secretary knows how to speak more than one language then it can also be very beneficial for them.
4. Have you ever experienced working under tense environment?
While answering this question you need to be very confident and well aware of the conditions around you. You can answer by saying that you love taking challenges that that you have worked under pressurized environment for long hours.
5. Tell us something about for strengths and weaknesses?
I am a very hard worker, an efficient manager and a capable organizer. I can finish my target within the appointed time and in addition to my regular duties I can also perform various addition things side by side. My weaknesses are that I am a very emotional person and it takes some time for me to adjust to a new environment.
