1. What skills and qualifications will you bring to our organization?
I am a certified financial planner and I have handsome experience in financial planning topics such as insurance, tax planning, investments, estate planning or retirement planning. During the entire course of my career, I have learned to come up with solutions and strategies which are used in personal and financial decisions. I am passionate about solving financial problems and devising investment plans.
2. Please tell us about your approach to financial planning?
This question is particularly framed to know about the type of clients and financial situations which you like to work with. Some planners prefer to develop one single plan by bringing together all the financial goals while others provide advice on specific areas, as needed. The answer to this question will differ from person to person. The way you answer this question will discriminate you from rest of the candidates.
3. Please elaborate some services that you offer?
You will be happy to hear that, I offer range of services which include providing financial planning advice on a range of topics, selling financial products, and advising on estate planning or on tax matters.
4. Why do you want to work with our organization?
Now this is a tricky question. I would suggest you to prepare well before appearing for an interview. Do your homework, and make a complete research of the respective bank. All you have to do is to speak about the past and growth trend of the organization and gradually tell the interviewer that you will have a great future ahead over here.
5. What do you think it takes to be successful in an organization like this?
I think that determination, willingness to work hard and a hunger to excel in everything you do are some of the key attributes for a successful financial planner in this organization. A successful employee would also need to handle pressure well, be a great communicator and an excellent team member.
