  • Functional Marketing refers to a long-term and mutually beneficial arrangement in which both the buyer and seller center of attention is on the assessment enhancement and improvement with the goal of providing a more satisfying exchange within the organization. Functional marketing approach attempts to go above the simple purchase and exchange process with customer to make more meaningful and richer contacts. It is also known as Relationship Marketing.

    1. What are your best assets?
    Your answer should help them to know about your great addition to their team. So, you should have to answer in influensive and effective manners by showing your strengths and best qualities to the interviewers.

    Documentation is the product of an Engineer that can be manufactured in a manufacturing company. Hence it is an essential tool for engineering processes.

    Well sir, I have an analytical thinking power, an ability to motivate and inspire a team, an experience with the delivering against targets, skills with developing and building relationships with clients and an ability to develop new sales leads, products and markets. Most important I have chosen this field for increasing the scope of my knowledge and fulfilling my needs and wants.

    4. What do you mean by Six Markets Model?
    Well sir, it is a model based on the study of six markets which are considered as the core for the functional marketing. They are in the form of internal markets, Recruitment markets, Supplier markets, Referral markets, Customer markets and Influence markets.

    5. Name the two Approaches of this marketing.
    Well, the two approaches are Satisfaction and Retention. Satisfaction means the satisfaction of the customer. Relationship marketing relies upon the announcement and getting hold of the consumer requirements. Retention means the power to withhold or retrain or reserve the customer for the mutual beneficial relationships.

    6. What are the two components of Defensive Marketing?
    The two components of Defensive Marketing are: Increasing the Customer’s satisfaction and increasing the Switching barriers.

    7. Tell me your plans and strategy as a functional marketing officer?
    I would like to promote the products and services all over the country. I will also try my best to develop a unique strategy which will be helpful in the creation of brand image of that organization.
