  • Graduate Nurse is someone who has completed the course of study including hospital practice at a nurse’s training school. He is a person who has graduated from an accredited school of nursing.  He is also known as the trained nurse. He is liable person to perform the duties of nursing.

    Here, in this I am going to focus on the questions and answers that could be asked by the interviewer while you are facing the interview of the Graduate Nurse.

    1. Why you have chosen this field?
    Sir, I have chosen this field because of my personal interest in the field of nursing. From my early age, I want to serve people and guide them to their betterment that drives to work with the healthcare department and through this I lead them comfortable to live a healthy and joyful life.

    2. Tell me something about your achievement regarding this profession.
    Well sir, I am “A” certificate holder in the field of nursing. I have also got the XYZ prize from the top dignitary from my organization and I have an experience of almost five years in this field.

    3. Why are you wishing to leave your present job?
    Well sir, I love to serve the people through my own nursing skills and always want improvement in my skills. I have given my five years in the organization and find no innovation inside its functioning. That is why I have decided to join the new organization for the development.

    4. Where do you see yourself in the coming years?
    Sir, I will see myself as one of the top nurses in this organization. The timeframe may depend upon yours choice, but any medical institution that wishes to hire a nurse will surely need to know how serious you are about the profession and where you see yourself in five or ten years.  Kindly, try to give genuine answers to this question.

    5. Last but not the least; tell me why should we hire you?
    Well sir, you should hire me because of my excellent talent, my qualification and my previous experience in this field. I have very strong interpersonal skills. Again, mind it that this is mostly thought to be a trick question, but is not. This question, in fact, gives you a chance to speak about your talents, qualifications and experiences. Make sure that you give brief information about your professional past when asked this question. This will help the interviewer to know more about you and your professional life.
