A Hardware Engineer deals with the working of all types of instruments used in a firm. The most common field where this engineering skill is employed is the area of computers. 1. How do you qualify for this job?
It is an important question. Tell about the qualifications related to the field. The kind of work you specialize and projects you have done. If you have any work experience then tell about the kind of role you played there. Your achievements and extra training certificates will also help you in proving you competent.
2. What is a Program Counter?
Program Counter stores the address of the next instruction to be fetched in a micro processor. It gets incremented automatically by one as an instruction is executed. Thus it helps in jumping to the next instruction.
3. Give the names of 8bit/16 bit /32 bit microprocessor?
Few names of the specific micro processor are:
- 8 bit micro processor: 8085, Z80,6800.
- 16 bit micro processor:8086,Z8000,68000.
- 32 bit micro processor:80386,80486.
4. What type of stack is used in 8085 micro processor?
8085 uses LIFO type of stack. LIFO stands for Last in First Out. The stack pops out the latest information that has been fed in it.
5. Define a Latch?
Latch is a D-type flip flop. It stores only one byte that can be either 0 or 1. It is used for data storage.LED use them to hold the data for displaying.
6. Do you have any dream project?
The question demands a specific answer .Tell about any project that you want to make in future. You can also mention about any renowned hardware project that you wish to design in your own way. Be focused and genuine. Gather details about the projects of the company and try to cite them as examples.
