Help Desk Support professional provide technical support for an individual’s computer or company’s entire computer system. He or she might answer phones in a service department or work in the field or a testing laboratory. They interpret and trouble shoot problems related to software, hardware or entire computer systems.

1. Can you please tell us about your qualification, experience and skills?
I have 5 years of experience in this field and I have excellent knowledge of principles and practices related to this job. I also carry thorough knowledge of object oriented concepts and I can easily learn new technologies. I am familiar with MS office, Windows XP, 98, SQL and C#. I can easily train new users on different software. I possess excellent knowledge of database and I can easily create database in different applications.
2. Please tell some of the job specific tasks that you had performed in your previous organization?
In my previous organization I was responsible for performing various roles and responsibilities. I used to exchange data between different applications by creating procedures, create different documents which helped in training and attend various seminars. I also helped users by developing technologies. I was also responsible for upgrading the presented software and creating new software by using different technologies.
3. What skills are required for this post?
Well, according to me troubleshooting and problem solving are two important skills that are required by anyone who so ever is planning a career in this field. Professional must be able to work with technologically-challenged customers, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also important.
4. What are your weak and strong points?
It is a brilliant question which gives you a good opportunity to put an optimistic turn on something negative. You have to transmit your negatives into positives. Like in weakness you can say that I am too focused toward my work and I think I should take out time for myself. As far as strong points are concerned, they expect a simple answer from you. Just tell that you are careful, perfectionist and strong-minded.
5. Why did you leave your last job?
Do not abuse or disregard your past employer. You do not have to tell the fouls and problem with the management of last job. Stay positive and give a positive reason behind leaving the previous job such as an opportunity, a chance to do something special or some other forward-looking reasons.
