1. Please elaborate about your roles and responsibilities that you had in your previous organization?
In my previous organization I was responsible for handling the security tasks in both day and night shift and keeping record of customers like in-out time, names, mobile number etc. I have to resolve the parking problems, improve security policies by developing different programs and watch out equipments that were kept in hotel area. I also used to handle different situations such as illness, accidents and fire.
2. What skills will you bring to our hotel?
Well, I have ample experience in hotel security. I possess solid understanding of public, guest and employee safety along with structural and facility security. I have worked in numerous big and small hotels in my career up till now. I have developed strong ability to handle different situations without any damage. I have excellent observational, problem solving and communicational skills. I have deep knowledge of all hotel equipments with their name, cost, and expiry date. I can work successfully in team as well as individual work environment.
3. Can you tell us about job specific tasks that you have undertaken in your previous job?
Occupation specific tasks that I performed in my previous organization include administering, directing, and reviewing security operation programs so as to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, customers and others. I even have to patrol the hotel, initiate and monitor investigations and assist sick and injured associates and guests.
4. What are some of the aspects that you like about the job?
This question is basically planned to know your comfort and satisfaction levels with the job. You have to tell various positive aspect which you like about this job. Just state sufficient reasons as to why this job appeals you.
5. How long do you plan to stay in this job?
An employer is always interested in selecting those candidates who could stay in their company for longtime. You can say that – I would like to make positive contribution for a long period. I always approach new job with a long term view.
