1. How can you define IT?
Believe me that you can give any kind of IT interviews but this will be the first question which would be asked from you. Let me define IT for you. You can define IT as: “the term information technology is the collection of four words which is storage, retrieval, manipulation as wells as security”. This is a very brief and correct definition for the IT. The main advantage with this definition is that you will not be cross questioned since you are using limited words. If you are cross questioned then you will be asked that what you mean by storage or retrieval or any one from the above four.
2. What is the use of CD when we have hard disk which can store all?
This is really very important question and is quite tricky as well. The answer to this question is that we need the CD for back up purposes. I hope that now you would have got the idea as to what the CD is all about. You might not agree with me but believe me that this was the most important points which lead to the invention of the CD.
3. Can you build information system without information technology?
Yes we can make the information system without information technology concepts but believe me that you will not be able to make more effective information system without the help of information technology.
4. Is datawarehouse an application of information technology?
The answer to this question is yes. Datawarehouse is certainly the application of the information technology.
5. What is the difference between datawarehouse and data mining?
These types of questions can be definitely asked by you. The answer to the above question is that data mining is a part of data ware house.
6. What are compression algorithms?
I would definitely insist you to learn all the compression algorithms since they are very important. Some of the compression algorithms are like Huffman algorithm, Shannon algorithm and so on.
