A kitchen designer is a creative person who specializes in designing architectural interiors and their furnishings for a kitchen. They are responsible for planning, designing the interior of a kitchen of a hotel or restaurant. They even purchase kitchen components such as wall cover, flooring, ceilings, lightning etc.

1. What job specific tasks have you performed in your previous organization?
In my previous organization I performed numerous important responsibilities. The occupation specific tasks that I performed include producing elevations, reflected ceiling plans and floor plans for kitchen. I also purchased and planned components of dining areas such as flooring, wall cover, ceiling, lightings etc. I also provided consultation on materials in the construction of kitchen.
2. What skills will you bring to our organization?
I have handsome experience in this field. I have gained proficiency in 20/20, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and MS office. I am a highly creative, efficient, organized, dependable and flexible person with excellent communicational, interpersonal and problem solving skills. I love to take challenges and can successfully work in team as well as individual work environment.
3. Why do you want to become kitchen designer?
I have always been interested in arts and architecture. I find great career opportunities in this field. You can also say that – kitchen designing is a very prestigious profession and designers are highly respected within the community. The answer to this question will differ from person to person. You have to tell those reasons for which you want to join this profession. I will advice you to make a complete research in this field before appearing for the interview.
4. What are your key achievements up till now?
Well, I was the class representative of my batch. I have got many awards for my work. I got two promotions in 1 year in my previous organization due to my excellent work.
5. Would you like to ask any question?
You should ask plenty of questions from interviewer to show interest in the position. The employer will not hire someone who has no questions. You should prepare question in advance for the interviewer.
It is very essential to be prepared for an interview. During the course of an interview, you may be asked various questions. Just one bad answer can stand out and cost you the job. So be careful while you appear for an interview.
