A Pharmacist is trained healths professional who uses to fills the prescriptions and distribute medicines. 1. Tell me something about your job profile.
Well sir, as a hospital pharmacist my liability will be to make sure supply of all medicines and related products reach to the patient on time and in the accurate way. My other tasks will involve the discussion with doctors and nurses over the correctness, aptness and suitability of a treatment for a particular patient. I will also use to manage staff and drug budgets, ensuring availability of detailed clinical information whenever and wherever required and advising the hospital management on service needs and delivery.

2. What is the worst part about your job?
Sir, there is no any burden but one thing I want to say that there was more work and few staff and the hospital management didn’t want to change it. So, I think this is the worst part of my job.

3. How often do you have to deal with a hostile customer?
Well sir, I know that anger and frustration could be common events when the hospital was particularly busy and there was more work than the staff could cope with which results in delays of the work. This can’t be done by the poor coordination of discharges and inadequate communication skills between the medical, nursing and the pharmacy staff with the patient.
Violence was not an issue in the hospital, but is not unknown in the community setting.

4. How long have you been involved in this profession?
Sir, I have been in this profession from almost ten years. I think that pharmacy is not only a job but it is like a vocation. In that way the long hours and hard work seem to be more reasonable and it softens the pay issue as well.

5. What is the most rewarding part about your job?
Sir, I always want to serve the patients. When I use to help them it gives pleasure to me. I go over the top to resolve their problem delivering drugs to their home and coming in from their home specially to resolve a problem etc. The satisfaction of having done a good job and benefitted patients is wonderful experience for me to share.
