  • A Phlebotomist is a trained professional who is responsible for drawing blood, either for laboratory tests or for blood donations. They reduce the workload of doctors and nurses by focusing exclusively on blood collection, particularly in hospitals and blood drives.

    1. According to you what are the roles and responsibilities of a Phlebotomist?
    A Phlebotomist has to perform wide range of roles and responsibilities. They take blood samples from patients and catalog them for lab analysis.

    2. What are your skills and qualifications for this job?
    Well, I have more than seven year experience in this field. I can easily provide nursing services such as medications and injections to patients. I have outstanding proficiency in blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique, urine drug screen collections, paternity collections and saliva alcohol testing. I have excellent communicational, interpersonal and problem solving skills along with comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety. I also possess exceptional skills at monitoring patient flow and assisting health aides.

    3. What is your professional experience?

    I have handsome experience in this field. In my previous job, I have performed variety of routine blood drawing procedures to include venipuncture.  I use to prepare, process, label and store patient specimens and samples according to departmental procedures by using standard techniques and equipment.

    4. What is more important for you: Money or work?
    Money and work both are like siblings. But I believe when you work hard then money will automatically flow to you. So work is more important than money.

    5. How do you handle stress and pressure?
    You can answer this question by saying that, I like to work in challenging environment and I give better result while working under pressure. I enjoy challenges and deadlines because I diffuse the stress.

    6. What salary range are you looking for?
    I am interested in finding a job that is a good fit for me. I am sure whatever salary you are paying is consistent with the rest of the market. I think you have a good idea of what this position is worth to your company.
