A receptionist is generally a female candidate who presents the company in front of the customers. She helps out the customers with whatever queries they have. Suppose you want to contact the director then at first you will have to contact the receptionist and only then you can contact the director. One can only say that a receptionist is a personality who guides you and solves your query regarding the office.
There are many questions which can be asked from the receptionist during the interview. But you need to be smart. If you are not smart enough then you will never be selected. Following are some of the questions which can be asked from you while you are giving the interview.

1. Tell us about yourself ?
While answering to this question you should make sure that your pronunciation is clear. If it will not be clear then you will never be selected. In fact the most important thing for the receptionist is the pronunciation as well as smartness. Most of the questions which will be asked from you will be related to these two facts only.
2. What is your qualification?
Just say the qualification which you have. For example you can say that you have the bachelor’s degree.
3. Have you ever participated in extra curricular activities in the college or school?
These things prove that you are smart enough. If you want to really succeed in the interview then this question needs to be answered positively. You can say that you have participated in the dance competition and many more cultural activities. Believe me that if you will not answer correctly then you will be thrown out and all your chances will be shattered.
4. How do you know about us?
Tell that you came to know about the company through some newspaper. If you are from the same city then you can say that you came to know from one of your friends who live in that area.
5. Do you know any other language than English?
This is really one of the very important questions. If you want to become a receptionist then you will have to learn foreign languages as well. If you will work in the MNC then you will have to learn as many languages as possible.
6. What are your hobbies?
You will have to tell all the hobbies which you really like. Just recite all of them.
