    1. Tell me something about Active Directory schema?
Well, it is purely technical question. An Active Directory is a technology created by Microsoft that provides a variety of network services such as LDAP directory services, Kerberos-based authentication, DNS-based naming and other network information. Active Directory schema contains formal definitions of every object class that can be created in an Active Directory forest it also contains formal definitions of every attribute that can exist in an Active Directory object.

    2. What do you understand by Global Catalog and Global Catalog Server?
The global catalog is a distributed data repository that contains a searchable, partial representation of every object in every domain in a multidomain Active Directory forest. It provides the ability to locate objects from any domain without having to know the domain name.

A global catalog server is a domain controller. It is a master searchable database that contains information about every object in every domain in a forest. The global catalog contains a complete replica of all objects in Active Directory for its host domain, and contains a partial replica of all objects in Active Directory for every other domain in the forest. It is responsible for providing group membership information during logon and authentication and helps users in locating resources in Active Directory.

    3. Please tell us something about subnet mask?
Subnet mask divides an IP address into network mask and an address of a host in the network. It is used to identify the network within the large network. It helps in identifying which part of an IP address is reserved for the network, and which part is available for host use.

    4. Please tell us something about your past experience?
Well, I have 7 years of professional computer administration and service experience. I have installed, maintained, and upgraded systems running Windows 95/NT/98/ME/2000/XP/Server. I have configured computers for both personal and commercial applications in an OEM environment.
